COVID-19 Policy

COVID-19 UPDATE – please read

Due to recent lockdown restrictions being lifted, we are are allowing additional guests to your scan appointment.

Your safety and that of our staff are our utmost priority. All ultrasound scanning and blood tests require close contact between you and the practitioner, so we’ve implemented strict Social Distancing and Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) policies for increased protection in our clinic, in line with Public Health England (PHE) and the British Medical Ultrasound Society (BMUS).

Procedures that we do:

• We are offering hand sanitiser to all our patients upon arrival.

• We are carrying out basic health checks (temperature etc) on people attending the clinic.

• All staff have been provided with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

• Our scan room is deep cleaned between appointments to minimise the risk of cross-infection before the next patient is allowed to enter the scan room for their appointment.

• Mask wearing in healthcare settings like ours is still mandatory. We kindly ask that you and your guests wear a face covering or mask when in attendance at the clinic. If you or one of your guests is exempt, please inform us ahead of your appointment to enable us to accommodate you.

We kindly request, if you or anyone in your household has in the last 14 days, if you have come into contact with anybody who has Covid -19, please do not attend your appointment. Your appointment will be rescheduled.

Since the government guidelines on Covid-19 tend to update frequently, please cooperate with the Staff in following the procedures.

  We have visited twice, it has been outstanding both times . We was welcomed warmly by the sonographer on both occasions , she was professional, polite and knowledgeable.   We booked for an early reassurance scan and received an excellent service. It was very informative and baby was measuring a few days behind so have been booked in for a rescan in a week with not extra fee. Ladies were so friendly and helpful and kept me calm and relaxed as I was very anxious! Will be using them through my pregnancy highly recommend.
