We are only able to provide scans to persons over the age of 18
You must still attend your 12 week scan with the NHS.
Please note, we generally use a transabdominal (across your tummy) probe for this scan. It is important to arrive with a full bladder before your scan.
Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment time to complete your paperwork.
Our qualified sonographer may offer an internal scan during the earlier stages of pregnancy if it is required. This is because it can be difficult to see the fetus via your tummy at this stage. Many factors influence this (including hydration).
As with all of our scans, you have the right to refuse or stop the procedure at any time.
We highly recommend early scan if you have a history of pain or bleeding symptoms, previous misscarriage, IVF pregnancy, previous ectopic or molar pregnancy.
